About Sum of the People
Our Story
I am one of the Sum of the People.
Our duty to protect Democracy did not end with the end of our active military service. It continues to this day, but now instead of defending our Democracy with an M-16 I will do it with my vote & my voice!
Please join me and add your voice to mine by joining me on a peaceful hike from and to some of the most historic locations representing the creation of OUR nation, the defense of OUR Democracy and the great sacrifice made by the defenders of that Democracy and of this great nation!
Our Mission
When people thank me for my service I am always polite and say, “thank you”, but I do not want or expect thanks for my service. What I really want is for all those people to do THEIR service to Democracy in return! By using wisely the freedoms all veterans have fought & died for, by educating themselves to distinguish lies from truth, fantasy from reality and good from bad. Exercise your right to vote, even if it requires your time & work. STOP voting for people who clearly hate Americans and American ideals and always remember that it takes sacrifice and more than hugging a flag to be a true defender of democracy!
